Founded in 1954, Camp Wood Haven is beautifully located at the foot of Blue Mountain in Schuylkill County, Pine Grove, PA, a setting that feels like a true getaway. With towering trees, winding trails, and fresh mountain air, Wood Haven offers the perfect environment for campers to unplug from everyday life and reconnect with themselves, their peers, and the natural world. It’s more than a camp, it’s a tradition of growth, leadership, and joyful exploration that has been inspiring girls for generations.
Each summer, Camp Wood Haven offers seven weeks of overnight camp for campers entering grades 1–12, creating a place where every age group can find the right fit. Whether your camper is taking their first big step into independence or is ready for a more challenging program, Wood Haven meets them where they are and helps them rise higher. Days are filled with classic camp favorites like arts and crafts and swimming, along with countless opportunities to explore the camp’s unique features, including its amazing horse barn and the option to sign up for equestrian programming for campers who want to experience the excitement and responsibility of working with horses.
What truly makes Wood Haven special is its incredible connection to the outdoors, especially its proximity to the Appalachian Trail. Depending on the program they choose, campers may have the chance to enjoy short hikes and experience one of the most iconic trails in the country.
