Meet the Local Mompreneur behind Wonders Within Therapy

Women's History Month: Mompreneurs Interview

By Thyra Kelly March 16, 2026

To celebrate International Women's Day and Women's History Month, I have put together a selection of women who are both entrepreneurs and moms. Mompreneurs, if you will. These women have built businesses out of nothing that serve our local community. They're women who grew up in Sussex County and/or moved here to enjoy its scenic beauty. These businesses have all been built from scratch, with babies nursing, toddlers running around, and children playing. Nap times, the crayons on the wall and milk spilled on the floor can't stop the hustle of these mamas. Enjoy the second installation of my Women's History Month: Mompreneurs Interview, with Noelle Brock of Wonders Within Therapy, LLC.

What's your name?
Noelle Brock

What's your business name?
Wonders Within Therapy, LLC

What town in Sussex County do you live or operate?
Hamburg, NJ

Tell us a little about yourself, and your story.
I am an outdoorsy person who loves spending time doing anything outside, hiking, camping, kayaking and exploring. I also love anything animal related. Enjoying the company of my pets, and any other animals, always brings a smile to my face. You can also usually find me with my nose in a book. I love being a part of Sussex County because there are so many options and places to go outside and explore.

What inspired you to start your business or pursue what you do?
Initially what inspired me to do what I do, was my love of animals and helping others. I came across animal therapy in college and set that as my ultimate goal. What inspired my to start my business, was wanting to be able to reach more people and help support them. I am passionate about helping others feel happy and reach their goals. I love being able to support others in their journey.

What does your business do, and who do you help?

My business is mental health therapy. I work with children through adults. I work with anxiety, depression, coping skills, self esteem, positive thinking, daily life stressors and changes. But my specialty is maternal mental health. Helping moms build their village, see they aren't in these hard times alone, set boundaries and communicate their needs and feelings.

How has becoming a mom influenced your work, business, or goals?
Becoming a mom has influenced me by making me want to help support other moms through this crazy journey of parenthood. It has also made me want to grow myself into someone I can be proud of, while have a good work life balance.

What challenges have you faced balancing motherhood and your work?

Of course there are always challenges with balancing motherhood and work. Some challenges I have faced are being able to be easily accessible and fully present in all moments with my family. However, having an amazing support system, has made all of this easier for me.

What has been your proudest moment so far as a mom, entrepreneur, or both?

My proudest moment is being able to start my own practice and achieve my professional goals. I never imagined myself as a business owner but here I am. I am able to be my own boss, be proud of what I have been able to achieve, and also set an amazing example for my kids and other moms out there, that anything is possible.

What do you love most about being part of the Sussex County community?
What I love most about being part of the community is how supportive everyone is of each other. Everyone is open to supporting each other and helping them find the best services for what they need.

Is there another local woman-owned business or inspiring woman you'd like to shout out?
I would like to give a shout out to It Takes A Village in Hamburg. This is the space where I share an office on Mondays and it is run by two amazing women with an amazing goal.  Jacqulyn Potter, who is a lactation consultant, and Barbara Cheuvront, an occupational therapist, started this space to be able to have supports for babies, children and parents all under one roof and easily accessible.

If you had one piece of advice for other moms thinking about starting something new, what would it be?
Prepare yourself and take the leap! It can be so scary, but as long are you are ready to put in the work and effort, it will pay off.  Have your support system behind you and your goals ahead of you, and you can do anything you put your mind to.

Is there anything else you'd like readers to know about you or your business?
I understand that everyone has their own path for their mental health. Everyone has different needs and wants when meeting with a therapist. Even if I am not who you are looking for, please reach out and I can give you resources for what you need to make your journey a little bit easier.
